Our Story
-
2022
Started as a sports travel blog about the experience around the game: the stadiums, the gameday scene, and the trips themselves.
-
2024
Relaunched as Gameday Guides at gamedayguides.com, adding the practical side fans actually search for: seating, parking, bag policies, hotels, and getting there.
-
Today
More than 175 guides covering the NFL, MLB, college football, NBA and NHL arenas, and football grounds across Europe and Australia.
Our Process: Experience Meets Rigorous Research
Over the past three decades, Brad has attended hundreds of live events, ranging from standard NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL regular-season matchups to marquee events like championship games and international tournaments. That firsthand perspective drives our focus on the details that actually matter in real life: seating sightlines, hidden stadium quirks, transit realities, and the tailgating scene you only understand by being there.
Because our library has grown past 175 guides worldwide, we build them using a hybrid approach to ensure maximum accuracy and utility for our readers.

Firsthand Experience
Dozens of our guides are rooted directly in our own personal visits, original photography, and boots-on-the-ground knowledge.
Meticulous Research
For international venues and stadiums we haven’t reached yet, we conduct rigorous research using official stadium policies, local fan forums, and updated team sources to aggregate the best insider advice.
Editorial Integrity
Our guides are researched and drafted with the help of modern tools, including AI, but nothing goes live on autopilot. Every guide is reviewed and edited by a person and checked against official venue and team sources, and anything we can’t verify gets cut. Where Brad has been there himself, he adds what he’s seen firsthand.
What We Cover
We focus on the practical logistics of sports travel so you can focus on the game. Gameday Guides specializes in:
In-Depth Stadium & Arena Guides
Comprehensive breakdowns of venues across the United States and the globe.
Major Sporting Events
Destination planning for the Super Bowl, College Football Playoff, March Madness, the World Cup, the Olympics, and more.
Gameday Experience
Built from years of road trips to games. Where fans go before and after kickoff, from the bars that fill up on a college football Saturday to the restaurants, hotels, and neighborhoods that make the trip worth taking.
Practical Gameday Advice
Actionable tips on ticket buying, seating views, parking, clear bag policies, and transportation.
Our Mission
Sports bring people together like almost nothing else.
A World Cup match fills a city with fans from both countries and everywhere in between. A college football Saturday doubles the size of a small town. Our goal is simple: to help sports fans travel with confidence and make every one of those trips the best it can be. Accurate, experience-based guidance means less time planning, less game-day uncertainty, and more time for what you came for: the game, and the people you share it with.
