How does the Champions League work?
36 clubs play in one league table, each facing eight different opponents, four at home and four away. The top 8 go straight to the round of 16, teams finishing 9th to 24th play a two-leg playoff to join them, and the bottom 12 are eliminated. Knockout rounds are two legs, except the one-match final.
Who qualifies for the Champions League?
Mostly league finish. The top four in England, Spain, Germany and Italy qualify, with fewer spots for smaller leagues. The previous season's Champions League and Europa League winners also get in, and the two leagues with the best European results earn an extra place.
What is the biggest stadium in the world?
India's Narendra Modi Stadium, a cricket ground, holds about 132,000, and North Korea's Rungrado 1st of May Stadium is officially about 114,000. What's the difference between AFL and rugby?
Rugby is played on a rectangular field with 15 players a side in rugby union or 13 in rugby league, and teams score by carrying the ball over the try line. AFL is played on an oval with 18 players and scores mostly by kicking between the posts, with no offside rule and no throwing.
