Best Seats At Everbank Stadium
HereEverBank Stadium sits right on the St. Johns River in downtown Jacksonville, and it’s genuinely one of the better NFL stadium experiences in the South—especially if you know where to sit. The place has the two largest video boards in the world, so even from the cheap seats you’ll see every replay in stunning detail. Fair warning: it’s Florida hot during early-season games, the clear bag policy is strict, and parking is a mess—but you can bring your own food, there’s no fighting for expensive nachos, and the JTA shuttle beats traffic every time.
Big Picture Seating Guide
EverBank Stadium holds around 67,000 fans and runs north-south, with the main sideline seating on the east and west sides. The stadium currently has three main seating levels—100 (lower bowl), 200 (middle tier), and 400 (upper deck on sidelines only)—plus premium club sections and suites. Think of it this way: lower bowl gets you close, 200-level gives you elevation and perspective, and 400-level trades proximity for price and surprisingly good sightlines.
Best Non-Premium Seats
Section 109, Rows 10-25: West sideline between the 30 and 40-yard line, sun at your back for afternoon games. You’re close enough to hear the snap count, great visibility of the entire field, and adjacent to the club section which means better food options nearby. Trade-off: these are pricier than other non-club lower bowl seats, usually $150-250+ depending on opponent.
Sections 410-414 & 430-433, Rows K-M: Upper deck midfield on both sides. You get 50-yard line views for a fraction of lower bowl cost—often $50-80 per ticket. The elevation actually helps you see plays develop, and the video boards fill in any detail you miss. Trade-off: you’re high up (32 rows total with steep stairs), and bathroom trips require commitment because you enter from the bottom.
Sections 140-141 & 240-241: South end zone corner sections. These are where locals sit when they want energy without breaking the bank. You’ll see scoring plays up close when the Jags are driving south, decent crowd vibe, and sections 240-241 have better elevation than the 140s. Trade-off: you’ll depend on the video boards for plays at the far end, and you’re not getting strategic midfield views.
Best Value Seats
Sections 403-405 & 440-443, Any Row: Upper deck corners. Cheapest seats in the house at $35-60, and honestly, the sightlines are solid—you can see the whole field without obstruction. Trade-off: steep climb, you’re far from the action, and these sections get direct sun for early-season 1pm games.
Budget Option
Standing Room Only (SRO): Priced around $20-30 depending on the game. You can move around, grab food anytime, and don’t have to commit to one view. Downside: you’re standing for 3+ hours, tall people will block you, and there’s nowhere to sit during a blowout or overtime.
Weather & Shade Reality
The south end zone (sections 146-150, 240-245) eventually gets shade as the sun dips behind the massive video board, usually by mid-afternoon. If you’re sitting in sections farther from the field in the south end zone, you’ll get shade sooner. The west sideline (sections 107-112, 200s west) has sun on your back for afternoon games, which is way better than squinting into it. East side gets blasted with afternoon sun until late in the game. September and early October games are brutal—buy west side or south end zone if you want any relief.
What to Avoid
North End Zone Upper Sections (200-level north end): These are flatter, farther from the field, and the sightlines don’t justify the price. You’ll end up watching the video boards more than the actual game.
Sections 403-405 & 440-443 (upper corners) for noon games: Direct sun exposure with no shade until well after the game ends. Not worth saving $20 if you’re going to be miserable for three hours.
Premium Seating
EverBank Stadium has two main club levels—the Gallagher East and West Clubs near midfield, plus the Terrace Suites and Bud Light Club in the south end zone. The Gallagher Clubs are the real deal; the south end zone options are more affordable but feel stripped down in comparison. Everbank is going through 1.4 Billion in renovations over next few years, so these clubs are going to change dramatically.
The Best Club
Gallagher East and West Club – Sections 107-112 (West) and 134-139 (East): These are between the 25-yard lines on both sidelines with climate-controlled lounge access, wider cushioned seats, VIP entrance, private restrooms, and upscale food and beverage options available for purchase. The food here is significantly better than the rest of the stadium—actual gourmet options, not just hot dogs. Seating gives you midfield views with extra legroom. Pricing runs $200-400+ per seat depending on opponent and exact location.
Best Value Club
Terrace Suite – South End Zone: All-inclusive option at $250 per ticket. You get a reserved outdoor seat overlooking the south end zone, plus access to an indoor climate-controlled lounge with full gourmet buffet, complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks, and dessert. For the price, this is the only true all-inclusive club experience in the stadium. Best for fans who want premium amenities without paying midfield club prices.
Other Notable Clubs or Premium Options
Bud Light Club – South end zone: Bud Club Tables run $1,000 per table of 4 ($250/ticket) and include access to a private bar, concessions, and covered sports bar lounge with field views. It’s more of a party deck vibe than a premium club experience, but the tables and bar access make it worth it for groups who want to hang out as much as watch the game.
FanDuel Party Deck – Features bar rail seats with a sweeping view of the field. More casual than traditional clubs, and food/drink are purchased separately from nearby concessions.

Everbank Stadium Parking
JTA Gameday Xpress is the best way to get to EverBank Stadium if you don’t want parking drama—locals say it bypasses traffic entirely. Driving works if you arrive early, but parking fills fast and traffic getting out is brutal. Rideshare is fine if you’re willing to pay surge pricing and walk a bit for pickup.
Everbank Stadium Parking
Official stadium lots are $15-20 and fill 90 minutes before kickoff for big games. Cheaper unofficial lots nearby run $10 and are about a 10-minute walk (check 5th Street area and surrounding blocks). Street parking is extremely limited and in high demand—arrive before 5pm for a 7pm kickoff if you want any chance. Some locals use the Prked app to reserve private driveways and garages nearby, which guarantees a spot and costs $10-15.
Some Pro Tips: The Metropolitan Park Area has some unofficial lots in the 10-20 dollar range thats about a 10 minute walk away. Lots along Gator Bowl Boulevard and East Duval (West and North of Stadium) Fill up quickly but are worth checking out. And the 5th Street area I mentioned.
Public Transit – JTA Gameday Xpress
Cashless shuttle service via the MyJTA app—buy your pass ahead of time, not on game day. You park for free or cheap ($10-15) at one of five lots: Kings Avenue, FSCJ-Downtown, Beaches (Wingate), JTB Park-n-Ride, or Armsdale Park-n-Ride. Shuttles drop you at Lot B (east gates) for most lots or Lot Z for FSCJ (Lot Z is a 10-minute walk, so avoid that lot if you want the shortest walk). Service starts about 2.5-3 hours before kickoff, and return shuttles run for about an hour after the game ends. This is the locals’ move—way less stress than driving, no $20 parking fee, and you skip traffic.
Water Taxi
The St. Johns River Taxi operates along the downtown riverfront and can drop you near the stadium if you’re staying at a downtown hotel near a landing (Southbank, Riverwalk area). Service runs on game days, takes about 10-15 minutes from downtown landings, and costs around $5-10 per person. It’s scenic, avoids traffic completely, and drops you within walking distance of the stadium gates. Verify current routes, schedules, and landing locations before game day—service can be limited depending on the season and weather. This is a great option if you’re staying downtown and want a unique Jacksonville experience.
Rideshare – Uber/Lyft
Pickup and drop-off is on the east side of the stadium. Expect $12-20 from downtown Jacksonville depending on demand, but prices surge 2x-3x during games. Schedule your pickup 30-45 minutes after the final whistle if you want to avoid surge pricing and the initial rush. Walking a few blocks away from the stadium will also lower your fare.
Walking
If you’re staying downtown (Southbank, Riverside, Brooklyn areas), EverBank Stadium is within 15-25 minutes walking distance. The area is safe and walkable, especially along the Riverwalk. No parking drama, and you’ll save money.
Everbank Stadium Insider Tips
EverBank Stadium is one of the few NFL venues that used to let you bring your own food, but that policy has ended—now the move is eating at Daily’s Place or tailgating before you scan your ticket to save money. The east side seats will roast you alive during afternoon games, and construction from the “Stadium of the Future” renovation is changing the upper deck layout. Here’s what actually helps.
Access & Gate Strategy
Gates 2 and 3 (North/East side) have significantly shorter security lines than Gate 1 (West), which is the main entry and gets slammed. If you don’t mind walking an extra minute, use the east gates—you’ll save 10-15 minutes in line. Gates open 90 minutes before kickoff. If you’re using JTA Gameday Xpress from Kings Avenue, Beaches, JTB, or Armsdale lots, you’ll get dropped at Lot B right next to the east gates—this is the fastest entry.
Daily’s Place / Flex Field (The AC Hack)
Daily’s Place is attached to the south end zone and opens 3 hours before kickoff. This indoor practice facility has air conditioning, clean bathrooms, cheaper beer ($5 specials sometimes), and live music. It’s the best place to wait before gates open or to cool down during the game. You can access it with any game ticket, and it beats standing in the Florida heat for two hours before kickoff.
Sun & Shade Reality (This Matters More Than You Think)
Jacksonville heat is brutal, especially September and early October. Sections 201-245 (East Side) are the “microwave seats”—you will bake in direct sunlight for the entire game during 1:00 PM kickoffs. These are typically visitor sideline seats. If you sit here, bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat, or you’ll be miserable.
Sections 201-250 (West Side) get shade first as the sun moves behind the press box structure. The home sideline is on the west side for a reason—sun at your back, not in your face. Always choose west side for afternoon games if you have the option.
Jacksonville Weather: Check the forecast and current conditions from the National Weather Service before you leave for the game.
Food & Drink Strategy
Bono’s Pit Bar-B-Q: Skip the generic stadium BBQ stands and find Bono’s—it’s a Jacksonville institution since 1949. Get the pulled pork sandwich. This is what locals eat.
The “Teal” Burger: Found at “Burger & Drink” stands throughout the concourse. The bun is dyed teal. It’s a gimmick, but a fun photo op and actually tastes decent. Worth trying once for the full Jaguars experience.
Eat Before You Enter: Since the “bring your own food” policy ended, your wallet is safer eating at tailgates or Daily’s Place before scanning your ticket. Stadium food prices are standard NFL markup.
Stadium Traditions & Culture
“DUUUVAL” Chant: You’ll hear this everywhere—it’s a low, guttural roar: “DUUUUUU-VAL” (for Duval County). Join in. It’s the signature Jaguars chant, and fans do it after big plays, touchdowns, and randomly throughout the game.
First Down Chant: When the announcer says “That’s a first down for the…”, you yell “JAGUARS!” and point forward. Locals do this religiously. Don’t sit there silently—you’ll stand out.
Instagrammable Spots & Photo Ops
The two massive video boards are the iconic shot—head to sections 146-150 on the main concourse and shoot toward the south end zone board during pre-game or early 1st quarter for the best light. The St. Johns River is visible from certain concourse areas on the north side—good for skyline shots at sunset.
North Endzone Fan Deck
The Fan Deck (North End Zone): You can’t swim in the famous pools unless you have a $12,000+ group ticket, but you can go to the Fan Deck located right next to them. It offers great views of the field and the pool party chaos. Good spot to hang out during the game if your seats are in the sun.
Cooling Buses: In extreme heat (September games), JTA often parks “Cooling Buses” near the gates or plazas. If you’re overheating, ask a staff member where the nearest cooling zone is. This is a lifesaver during early-season 1pm kickoffs.
Stadium Renovations: “Stadium of the Future”
EverBank Stadium is undergoing a massive $1.4 billion transformation called the “Stadium of the Future,” which began construction in 2025 and is scheduled for completion in August 2028. This is one of the largest stadium renovation projects in NFL history and will completely reimagine the venue while maintaining its core structure. It will have a canopy (still open air), wider concourses and is expect to seat around 70k when finished. Here is what its supposed to look like.
Construction Warning: And because the “Stadium of the Future” renovations are ongoing and reducing capacity—parts of the upper deck may be closed or construction zones. Check your ticket view carefully before buying, especially upper deck seats.

Where to Pregame: Restaurants and Bars Near Everbank Stadium
Jacksonville fans take their pre-game seriously—tailgating starts 3-4 hours before kickoff in the stadium parking lots, and the bars around downtown and the Sports Complex fill up by noon for 1pm games. Most fans either tailgate in Lot J and the surrounding lots (permitted as long as grills are contained and fires are extinguished before you leave) or hit up nearby breweries and sports bars in the Riverside and Springfield neighborhoods before walking or ridesharing to the stadium. After the game, fans either head straight back to their tailgate spots or pack into The Bar at the Arena and Intuition Ale Works—both within walking distance and always packed post-game. If you’re not tailgating, here’s where to go.
Best Bars for Gameday
Bud Light Party Zone – Inside EverBank Stadium (South End Zone): You don’t need to leave the stadium for the party—this zone is on the main concourse in the south end zone and opens two hours before kickoff. Any ticket holder can access it. Multiple bars, over 50 TVs, lively pre-game atmosphere. The field view is mostly obstructed unless you book one of the premium Bud Club Tables ($1,000 per table of 4), which give you reserved patio seating with field views, private bar access, and lounge. If you’re just walking in with a regular ticket, think of it as a hangout spot to grab drinks and watch on TVs—not a viewing area. Great for pre-game energy without leaving the stadium.
Intuition Ale Works: The go-to spot for pre-game if you want to be in the thick of it. This Jacksonville craft brewery sits right next to EverBank Stadium with a rooftop beer garden that has views of the stadium and downtown skyline. Wide selection of craft beers, full pub menu from their in-house restaurant The Kitchen, and it gets absolutely packed on game days. They sometimes charge a $20 cover on big game days that includes AC, seating, restrooms, and gameday show on TVs. Beer flights are $5, food is solid pub fare. Walk to the stadium in under 10 minutes. Open pre-game and post-game.
The Bar at the Arena:: Within walking distance of EverBank Stadium and easily the busiest place to go after the game. Classic sports bar with burgers, hot dogs, wings, and traditional stadium grub. Packed with Jaguars fans on game days, rowdy atmosphere, and you can hear the stadium roar from the patio. This is where locals go if they’re watching the game on TV instead of attending—great alternative if tickets are sold out or too expensive.
Strings Sports Brewery – Springfield: Locals consistently rank this as the #1 spot to watch the game in Jacksonville. Great food, extensive beer selection (beer and wine only, no liquor), and excellent game-day atmosphere. It’s close enough to hit before kickoff if you arrive early, but you’ll need to rideshare or drive—not walkable on game day. Worth the trip if you have time.
Bold City Brewery Downtown – Bay Street (Downtown): Small-batch craft beers plus their core lineup from the production facility. Decent selection from lagers to stouts, flights are $5 for four beers. They offer food from Cowford Chophouse next door—appetizers, burgers, cheese plates. The vibe is more laid-back than Intuition, and there’s decent bar space plus TVs. Note: They close at 10pm on Saturdays, so not ideal for post-game if it’s a late game.
Jax Touchdown Grill – Sports Complex (across from tailgater parking): Your classic sports bar serving hearty American food—fresh ingredients, cold beer, good wings. Open pre-game for food and drinks, then they close during the game so staff can watch the Jaguars, and re-open post-game for drinks only. This is peak Jacksonville energy—even the bar staff are die-hard fans.
Spliff’s Gastropub – Downtown: A few blocks from the stadium, great burgers and sandwiches, perfect game-day menu. Their mac n’ cheese is legendary. Hop on a scooter to get there quickly and add some excitement to your day. Good option if you want something more upscale than typical bar food but still casual.
Standout Restaurants in Jacksonville
Cowford Chophouse – Bay Street (Downtown, walking distance): Upscale steakhouse, one of the top-rated restaurants near EverBank Stadium. If you want a nice sit-down meal before the game and you’re arriving early, this is the move—but make a reservation. Expensive ($$$$), but the quality matches the price. They also provide food to Bold City Brewery next door if you want chophouse food in a brewery setting.
BB’s Restaurant & Bar – San Marco: Solid option for lunch and drinks before the game. San Marco location means you’ll need to drive or rideshare, but it’s close enough to hit if you’re coming from the Southbank area hotels. Good for groups who want a sit-down meal before heading to the stadium.
Ocean Taco – Downtown: Locals recommend this for a quick, flavorful meal before the game. Casual, affordable, and you can get in and out without eating up your entire pre-game window.
European Street Cafe – San Marco: More upscale than typical gameday spots, good for brunch or lunch before an afternoon game. You’ll need to drive or rideshare from here.
V Pizza – San Marco: Casual pizza spot in San Marco, good for groups and families. Quick service, affordable, and you can grab slices to go if you’re in a rush.
PourTap – Downtown: Located downtown and connected to a pizza restaurant, offering tons of beer taps and great food with all NFL games on TVs. Good alternative if Intuition and The Bar at the Arena are too packed.
